This page provides a photograph and description of each tourist map that is available from Tourist Information in Cambrils. Standard Tourist Map of Cambrils
If you are simply asking for general information on Cambrils this is the map that you are most likely to be given in tourist information. On one side if the map it shows a map of the whole of Cambrils, stretching from the Riera de Riudecanyes to Salou. On the other side it focuses on the town centre - from the marina to the old town. There is a street index on this map, allowing you to locate all of the streets in Cambrils.
There is also a key on the map for where all of Cambrils' important services are. These include the town hall, parking, petrol stations, the post office and the sports centre. There is also a very useful key for if you want to take a tourist's trip through Cambrils - a panel provides a photograph of each monument, museum or historical building, accompanied by a number locating where it is on the map.
This is also a useful map if you are looking for accommodation in Cambrils. A key provides locations for the main hotels, pensions (like hostels), campsites and apartment companies in Cambrils.
This is a very useful map. Just make sure you get a couple of copies - during my trip to Cambrils, mine got used so much that it was in four pieces by the end of the trip!
Commercial Map of Cambrils
This is a sponsored map of Cambrils, meaning that is very heavy on the advertising. In many ways this makes it less simple to use than the standard map of Cambrils (see above). However, you may find it useful if you are looking for restaurants, bars or shops to head to in Cambrils. Each advert around the edge of the map has a number that coincides with a number on the map, telling you where it is.
The map also provides a street index for the centre of Cambrils. The map is made of paper that is thick, meaning that you might find it hardier than the standard paper map (see above).
Cycling Routes map for Cambrils
This map is one of the pride and joys of Cambrils Tourist Information. It is a map that was designed with the aid of a local professional biker with all of a biker's needs taken into consideration. The map is made of a thin plastic - this was specifically to ensure that bikers could take it on journeys with them and it could remain in their back pocket without getting ripped or damp.
One side of the sheet provides a map for the whole of the Costa Daurada with Cambrils at its centre. It shows the routes that are described overleaf as various different coloured lines on the map.
The other side of the sheet provides the options for fourteen different cycle routes in the Costa Daurada area. For each route a description of the route is given, plus the length of the route and a chart showing the ups and downs of the journey. There is also a small key to help if you find yourself in a difficult position whilst on your bike ride, with numbers including the police, the town hall and emergency services.
Tourist map for the Costa Daurada
This map is perfect for if you want to do a tour of the Costa Daurada, taking in the tourist attractions that are available throughout the region. On one side of the map you will find a map of the whole of the Costa Daurada, highlighting each region. It is a detailed map with all of the different types of roads on it, plus lakes, rivers, natural parks etc.
On the other side of the map the region is split up into sections:

For each of these sections of the region the guide provides listings of the most significant tourist attractions. These include monuments, museums, amphitheatres and theme parks. General Plan of the Costa Daurada
This is a useful map if you plan to spend time in the range of coastal towns along the Costa Daurada. It covers the main coastal areas of the Costa Daurada:
- Salou
- Cambrils
- Cap Salou
- La Pineda Platja
- Vilafortuny
- Vila seca
On one side of the map there is a picture of the Costa Daurada coastline - from Cambrils to La Pineda Platja. Each section of the map is squared off to demonstrate the sections for the smaller, more detailed maps of each area overleaf. On this side of the map there are also two keys. One is for general services in the area that are all given symbols. The services include civic centres, train stations, police stations, markets and car parks. The other key on this side of the map is for hotels in the Costa Daurada - all given a number that correlates to the position on the map.
On this side of the map you will also find one more useful addition - a small map of the centre of the city of Reus. This map shows a walking route known as the 'Ruta de Modernisme' - a route around Reus city centre that allows you to take in 26 of the town's most important modernist buildings.
The other side of the sheet provides close-ups of each of the towns that are listed above. These maps also feature the numbers and symbols from the two keys overleaf.
Tourist Map of Catalunya
This is the largest map provided by tourist information and it is of the whole of Catalunya. One side of the sheet provides the map of Catalunya with a very simple key showing the different road types, campsites, airports, ports, castles, monuments and golf courses.
The other side of the map provides tourist information on the following subjects:
- Basic Information (where to buy stamps, entry formalities for Spain, currency information and an accommodation overview)
- Climate Information (an overview to the climate in Catalunya)
- Communications and Transportation (contact details for train, air, bus, coach and ferry companies in Catalunya)

- Golf Courses (contact details for all of the golf courses in Catalunya)
- Activity Holidays and Adventure Sports (contact details for all of the adventure sports companies in Catalunya)
- Marinas (contact details for all of the marinas in Catalunya)
- Aquatic Parks and Theme Parks (contact details for all of the aquatic and theme parks in Catalunya)
- Ski Resorts (contact details for all of the ski resorts in Catalunya)
- Tourist Information (contact details for all of the tourist offices in Catalunya)

This is map is good if you want to an overview of how you will go about a tour of Catalunya. However, when you arrive in specific locations you are likely to want to pick up maps providing more specific detail for that area.
