In Catalunya, campsites are graded by the Tourist Board of the Catalan Regional Government. There are a grand total of seven campsites in Cambrils. One of these is what is described as a 'deluxe' campsite - Cambrils Park. Four fall into the category of 'second class' campsites (see below) and two are described as 'third class' campsites.

Some of the campsites in Cambrils are open all year round (see below for more details), but the majority are only open during the summer season. So, before heading to the campsite of your choice it is worth calling them to check whether they are open yet. The opening dates for each campsite could possibly change from year to year.
On this page I have not provided the prices for each campsite, as they are often subject to frequent changes. It is best to contact the campsites directly to find out their costs. Costs will often vary depending on the time of year and will be most expensive in July and August. In general, you will find that the category of the campsite will affect its cost - the 'deluxe' campsite being the most expensive and the 'third category' campsites the most affordable.
Ámfora d'Arcs Camping
Camping Ámfora d'Arcs is a campsite offering only bungalows. It has been categorised as a 'second category' campsite (see above for more details). There are a total of 50 bungalows on site. There are a variety of sizes of bungalow on offer. These are bungalow for two, bungalow for four and mobile home for four. The campsite sits 1.5 km from the beach at Cambrils. Therefore, if you plan to spend lots of time at the beach, it may help to go with a bicycle or a car.
The campsite is only closed for one month of the year. Therefore, on the off season it will be one of your only options in the Cambrils area.
Facilities at Ámfora d'Arcs Camping
Each bungalow offers a kitchen and dining area, a bathroom with hot water, an exterior balcony, a fridge and kitchen utensils.
There are a grand total of three swimming pools on site, meaning that there are swimming areas for both the kids and the grown ups to enjoy.
There is also a small children's play area and a basketball court on site. In addition to that there is also a supermarket, laundrette, television room, bar and restaurant. Next to the pool there is also a small shack selling ice creams, sweets and snacks.

Joan Camping
Camping Joan in Cambrils is one of the only campsites on offer that is located right on the beach front. It sits directly in front of Platja de l'Ardiaca, one of Cambrils' most picturesque beaches, due to its coves. It is located at the quieter end of Cambrils, approximately 2 km down the cost line from Cambrils town centre.
The campsite is filled largely with bungalows - there are a total of 60. However, there is also the option to rent a plot for your tent or caravan. The campsite has been categorised as a 'second category' campsite (see above for more details).
Facilities at Joan Camping
There are two categories of plot available at Camping Joan - standard and superior. The standard plots are 30 - 50 metres squared and the superior lots are 50 - 70 metres squared.
There are a variety of 5 types of bungalows, sleeping between 2 and 6 people. All bungalows offer a dining room with table and chairs, a fridge and electric cooker, a complete bathroom with shower and toilet, a colour television, hot water and electricity. None of the bungalows offer air conditioning.
There are two different pools on site - one for adults and one for children. There are also two children's play areas. There is a laundry service. There is a games room with table football, billiards and ping pong. There are two restaurants on site - Restaurant Maritim and Restaurant La Palmera.

La Llosa Camping
Camping La Llosa is located about 100 metres from one of Cambrils' most central beaches - Platja de la Llosa. And it is one of the closest campsites to Cambrils town centre and port area. It is a relatively large campsite, with a total of 400 plots. The campsite has been categorised as a 'second category' campsite (see above for more details).
Facilities at La Llosa Camping
There are both plots (for tents and caravans) and bungalows available at Camping La Llosa. Each plot is between 50 - 70 metres squared and has its own electricity connection.
The campsite is well located close to the beach, however, it also has its own two small pools. There is also a children's play area. There is a bar and restaurant and supermarket. There is also evening entertainment available during the high season. There is a Wi-Fi zone where you can pay extra to use an internet connection and a laundry room.

Platja Cambrils Camping
Otherwise known as Camping 'Playa Cambrils', this campsite is located along the road that runs from Cambrils to Salou. It is situated about 150 metres from the beach (Platja del Cavet) and about 1.5 km from the town centre area of Cambrils.
The campsite has been categorised as a 'second category' campsite (see above for more details). It offers both plots (for tents and caravans) and bungalows.
Facilities at Playa Cambrils Camping
There are two pools at Playa Cambrils Camping - one for adults and one for children. There is a bar-restaurant that is located next to the pool area. It offers snacks as well as take away meals.
There is a supermarket offering frozen and fresh produce, with a bakery, a greengrocers and a butchers.
There is a sports area with a football pitch, a basketball pitch, a tennis court and a volleyball court.
There is a television room and a games room. There is also an outdoor children's play area.

Baix Camp Camping
Camping Baix Camp is located about 2.5 km from the beach, on a large road that leads towards Salou. The campsite has been categorised as a 'third category' campsite (see above for more details). There are both plots and bungalows available at the campsite.

There is one pool available at Baix Camp Camping. There is also a small bar-restaurant. There is a supermarket selling food, camping equipment and barbecues. There is also a laundry service.

La Corona Camping
This campsite is located directly opposite Camping Cambrils Park, but it is a very different entity. The campsite has been categorised as a 'third category' campsite (see above for more details), therefore the facilities are a lot more basic and the prices are a lot lower. It sits about 400 metres from the beach, ensuring that the sands and sea are a pleasant walk or bike ride away.
Facilities at La Corona Camping
There are both plots for tents and caravans and bungalows available at La Corona Camping.
There is a pool available, with a bar-restaurant area that sits to the side of it. There is an outdoor children's play area.
There is also a supermarket, laundry area and ironing room.

There are a grand total of seven campsites in Cambrils, meaning that it is not always easy to choose the best campsite for you. If you look carefully through the descriptions of the campsites above, you will note that they all have positive and negative features. Some are further from the beach, but offer more facilities. Some are more basic but are more affordable. Some are closer to the lively town of Salou whilst others are at the other, more quiet side of Cambrils. This ensures that, in regards to camping, there is something for everybody in Cambrils.
